My priorities

Jobs, jobs and more jobs. The Potteries has such a proud past, from the pots to the pits and steelworks. At the heart of the country, we were also at the heart of the last industrial revolution. The challenge going forward is how we are going to build on our wonderful heritage to create a city fit for purpose in the twenty-first century and one that provides opportunities for the next generation.

My priority is to bring high skilled, well paid jobs back to the city and Kidsgrove. That means no more zero hours contracts and the national minimum wage being the exception rather then the rule. To do that we'll need to work together to make sure that we can attract new businesses and support those smaller businesses already in the city so they can grow. We also need to be proud of our city, making the case for investment and celebrating both our heritage and the opportunities for our future.

I'm passionate about our city and with your help I know that we can make sure that Stoke-on-Trent North & Kidsgrove have an exciting and dynamic future.

See below for some more information on what I'll be fighting for to get the best deal for our city.
